Australian Manaslu 2002 led by Greg Mortimer

Greg Mortimer who has summited both Everest (8/20/90) and K2 (10/3/84) will lead this team of 6 climbers on Manaslu in Spring 2002. The team includes Brian Laursen (Everest summit 2001), Geoff Robb (Everest summit in 99 and Seven Summits), Ralph Pliner, George Lloyd, and Andrew Peacock.

Four members and One High Altitude Sherpa of Australian Manaslu Expedition 2002 has succeeded to climb 8163 meter high Mt. Manaslu from the North East Ridge on 13th May 2002 at 11:30 AM. They had started from Camp III on May 13 2002 at 5:00 AM.
