The family of Mike Matthews has
asked EverestNews.com to contact as many of you as possible, to ask you to keep an eye out
for their son's body. We will be contacting many of your expedition's leaders providing
them with information. Mike's body was lost on Everest last year below the Hillary Step on
the South Side. The Matthews family asks for your help and kindness in showing Mike
respect. The family wishes that no climber risks his or her life in searching
for the body. Thank You from the family of Mike Matthews in this difficult matter.
