Update
5/16/2002: The
first of the Mountain Madness Everest team reached
the top of the world today. Four members of
the team, Dr. Julio Bird, Charlie Fowler, Lakpa
Gelu Sherpa (9 times now!) , and Jangmu Sherpa (8
times now!) reached the summit at 11am today.
Matthew, Andy, Hector, Lakpa and Ninma are on
their way up.
We will
send you a full report about our team when
they get back to base camp.
