We
currently believe Mario to be 65 years old based
on his birth date EverestNews.com obtained. Yes
we saw the many press reports saying he was 66,
and we were originally told he was 66!!!
However, based on his birth date obtained by
EverestNews.com we currently believe that Mario Curnis
is 65 and that he is NOT the oldest man to
Summit Everest.
However, the China Tibet Mountaineering
Association apparently has Mario as 66, so stay
tuned.

when originally informed of Mario's summit
checked our records which for some reason did
not have his birth date or passport number,
unlike most of our records. So EverestNews.com
then asked several sources...
