In a circular issued by
the Ministry Tourism announcing the waiver of the
royalty fee on all trekking peaks passes, up to 6500
meters for the year 2003 and 2004 in all open areas
for climbing below 6500 meters in restricted areas you
need a trekking permit through a registered tour
operators. Be remember that the same previous law was
for peaks below 6000 meters.
