Simone Moro attempts Nanga Parbat (8125 meters), K2 (8611 meters) and Broad Peak (8047 meters) all in two months!

Dispatch 19: Today all the members of Kazakhstan team came back to base camp. They said that they are quite tired and that on the K2 there is now new snow.... In fact also this night we get big rain at 5000 meters and it means snowfall in higher altitude.

Today is the birthday of Denis Urubko and he is now 30 years old.

Tomorrow he will visit us at Broad Peak base camp and he will spend here some days.

Here is more relaxed situation and far of the “competitions” and strategies of K2 climb. Now we need to rest and not to be involved in the stress of the tactic theories. We will start to attempt K2 around 4 august if the weather will change. In case it will remain like in the last days, I have to start to prepare my baggage because the 9/10 august I have to leave the base camp. The 15th August I will have the flight to Italy.....
