Guggemos German Everest Expedition 2001

Two
Members of Everest Expedition 2001, from Germany have been
successful IN THEIR ATTEMPT TO CLIMB TO THE SUMMIT OF THE
WORLD'S HIGHEST PEAK, MT. SAGARMATHA AT 8,848M on 23rd May at
10:20a.m
1) Mrs.
Edurne Pasaban Lizarribar, (1973), Engineer, Guipuzkoa, Spain.
2) Mr. Ivan Vallejo Ricaurta, (1959), Quito, Ecuador. (Without Oxygen).
It is also
reported that they have already reached at the base camp. This
eleven members expedition team was permitted to climb Mt.
Sagarmatha from South East Ridge route under the Leadership of
Mr. Peter Guggemos, (1958) Building side director, from MOD,
Germany during this Spring Season of 2001.
Ivan
Vallejo was also part of the Gary Pfisterer's International
Expedition to Lhotse
