After
organizing a deposit-tent before the glacier, we set
up Camp-I at 6400 meters, on the first plateau, then
Camp-II at around 7000 meters on the second plateau. The
conditions were pretty windy all the time, and although
we brought skis with us, we didn't use them much.
Frederic Roux and the Sherpas deposited two tents at
about 7500 meters on the final ridge, on a beautiful
spot with an amazing view. This was to be our
Camp-III.
