Everest
Expedition 2001 "Anything is Possible"
|
|
Stephen
Nelson has achieved numerous summits in the
Canadian Rockies, including Athabasca, A2, Mt. Hector
and Victoria. He has also summited Mt. Rainier in the
US and climbed on Ama Dablam in Nepal. Stephen has
completed Crevasse Rescue, Glacier Travel, Avalanche
Safety and Rock Climbing courses at the University of
Calgary, where he currently resides.
Steve
climbs in honor of his twin sons who are alive
today after struggling with bipolar disorder
for two years. Steve is dedicating his
climb to raise awareness about mental illness
and to raise funds for the Canadian Mental
heath Association.
