!!
With
less than two weeks to go before the main Festival
weekend all the programme and all the great films we
are showing. If you have not got your tickets yet
then get on the web or phone
(01539 725133) and book them. We will sell out soon
of many of the ticket options – we only have a
few left for “A Celebration of Sea Cliff
Climbing”, Catherine Destivelle and the Saturday
Film Pass. We have already sold out of
“Touching the Void” and Joe Simpson.
May I remind you
to vote for the finalists of the Web Photo
Competition which will be posted on the web in the
next couple of days. Any tickets now booked will be
held at the Brewery Box office for collection
(including Leisure Centre events). If your tickets
get lost in the post due to the industrial action do
not worry we have full records to enable us to
re-issue your tickets.

“HIMALAYA” – Eric Valli’s epic film

“THE BEST OF EVEREST FILMS”
“Everest Unmasked” – Leo Dickinson’s film of Messner
and Habeler ground breaking ascent without bottled
oxygen.
“Sea to Summit” – a Michael Dillon film. In 1990,
Australian Tim
McCartney-Snape made history with the ultimate
ascent, a solo journey from Calcutta to the summit
of Everest.
“ELEVATION” – Vertical drama at the Kendal Climbing
wall. Also two
performances on Sunday 8 pm & Monday at 1 pm and 8
