The climbers were descending form the Summit when were descending after reaching the summit of 22652 feet high Panchachuli. The other two members of the 9 member team were reported missing...

The Indo Tibetan Border Police club have climbed over 100 Himalayan peaks over the past 3 decades, including Everest several times. S D Sharma had summited Everest as well as Kangchenjunga.

The tragedy had occurred on Saturday.
