Silvio phoned
tonight...
Yesterday they left BC and as there were a
beautiful day they start to walk and filmed the
way till the Camp I. After a short break they
decided to go higher. So at around 4 p.m. they
reached 6,100 m (300 m under the location where
they will established Camp II).
They been obliged
to fixed more ropes as the condition of the route
was not safe enough. During the night they spent
at Camp I an icy snowstorm came. So this morning
the alpinists decided to come back to BC. At the
base, however, they found a warm temperature
(minus 15 degrees during the day), their hope is
that the weather will be change in better so their
will be able to continuing their work as one solid
group higher.
