Three days mountain cinema in Sliven

From 19th to 21st of September the Bulgarian town Sliven was host of the 3rd International Festival of the Mountaineering Movies. All events went according the program.

The mayor of Sliven Ivan Slavov was on the opening and closing ceremony. The previous two festivals were held in town of Troian. For the first time such event was held in Sliven. Hopefully this would become a tradition as the organizers promised.

There were given several awards. The movie "Mustang" made by Slovakian Pavol Barabá; (K2 Studio;, Bratislava) won Grand-Prix of the festival. This movie presents unique images from recently opened for foreign visitors Kingdom Mustang.

The jury awarded with a special prize polish movie "Shared Flight" (producer Miroslaw Dembinski, Everest Studio;, Lodz).

Another Polish movie "Pictures from an Expedition" (producer Dariusz Zaluski) won award for soundtrack and just another one movie from Poland "Anna's World" won award ;Camera Extreme&; (producer and cameraman Dariusz Zaluski).

The prize  ;Outdoor activity; was won by German "1st B.A.S.E. - Angels of Gravity" (producer Georg Dehghan, ;Moving Adventures;nchen).

The film "White Dreams" of Bulgarian mountaineer Doychin Vassilev was decorated with a special prize of Sliven's Municipality.
