Death on Cho Oyu 2003


As reported to EverestNews.com earlier, Paul Carr, 42, from Australia has died attempting Cho Oyu. Details are still thin, but the sad news has been released to the papers. Carr, a policeman, was the leader of Cho Oyu group of 4 attempting the mountain.

All that is known about his death is that he became "ill". He was married with 2 children.

Other groups has summited Summit Cho Oyu in the past week.
