Eric Alexander and Erik
Weihenmayer are currently climbing Mount Cook in New
Zealand. Mt Cook at 12,316 feet it is the areas
highest peak.

Another climbing adventure with Erik Weihenmayer
to another of the world's greatest summits. We
arrived the 10th of December and begin our climb
shortly after hoping to summit by the 17th at the
latest. After our attempt of Mt Cook we will
be in Queenstown with Bill Laurence for some
paragliding adventures and returning home the 22nd
of December. As always your thoughts and prayers

Latest News: It is
the 12th and we are waiting for some clear weather
here in Queenstown. It should clear by Saturday but
for now we are settling for some mt biking, hiking and
hopefully some paragliding. Photos of EW and Bill
getting on our small but heavy plane and Erik getting
a tour of Mt Cook - as close as we have been thus far
to the mountain. Having a good time waiting. We got to
speak with Sir Edmund Hillary today and there is a
slight chance we can meet him - we'll see. More to
