| Current Nepal Time Featured Expedition: Simone Moro attempts Nanga Parbat (8125 meters), K2 (8611 meters) and Broad Peak (8047 meters) all in two months! Featured Expedition: Jean-Christophe Lafaille 2003 now heads to Nanga Parbat and Broad Peak both via new routes! "We will try Nanga Parbat in one day, from base camp to the top. We'll run up, bringing only a light emergency kit with us". Franco Nicolini and Mirco Mezzanotte, from Northern Italy, are about to fly Himalayas for their expedition. But it is not a routine one. Both Nicolini and Mezzanotte are well known in the European Sky-racer Championship entourage: they summited Cho Oyu in 2002, but could not reach their goal of an extra-speed ascent. But they're both determined: Nanga Parbat will allow them to go faster, and hit the goal. 2003 Summits: 6/17/2003: Denis Urubko, Dima Chumakov, Maksut Jumaiev, and Vassilly Pitsov summited Nanga Parbat. More attempting!
