Extreme Everest 2001 Expedition

One: April 14th, 2001: The
UK based Adventure Extreme Everest Expedition
led by Terry Stubbs arrived safely at Base Camp
on the Rongbuk Glacier on the 9th April. They
plan to ascend to intermediate camp on the 15th
then continue to ABC at 6400 meters after two
nights at intermediate camp for acclimatisation.
The other team members are; Brian Staines UK,
Nick Stopford UK, Mark McDermott UK, John Dunlop
Australia, Simon Williams NZ, Mick Long Irish,
Roland Hunter UK, Rob Bash UK, Dave Peel UK,
Stuart Simpson UK, Sandra Stubbs UK.
