More staff flew to Lukla early in
the morning, with 1000 kilos of food and members baggage.
|We had a
beautiful walk in the early morning, to the Monkey Temple, and
enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the Vajra Hotel. We kept busy with
packing and shopping throughout the day, putting the finishing
touches on our medical kit, staff clothing, member equipment,
In the evening we
had a large dinner with the team and Murari Sharma and Deha from
Parivar Trekking. We ate dinner at the very famous " KC's Restaurant
" , and were well entertained by our friend Promod KC, who is a real
gentleman. During the meal, every member reviewed their personal
files and made sure all of their records, etcetera, were up to date.
We are all very excited to review
our equipment and discuss our plans for climbing Ama Dablam,
tomorrow, on the roof of the Nepa Hotel.
Weather permitting, our team and
remaining staff and Sherpas and the remaining baggage will fly to
Lukla on 3 October. Thank you very much for publishing our
